My work is rooted in a desire to honor God through the gifts He has given me. Inspired by both Scripture and the beauty of the created world, I use painting and drawing to tell stories that invite reflection, wonder, and a deeper appreciation for the meaning woven throughout creation and the Gospel narrative.

Alongside this storytelling focus, I maintain a strong commitment to academic drawing and painting. Through portraiture, figure studies, still life, and observational work, I pursue the disciplined study of light, form, structure, and likeness, seeking to create images that are both truthful and expressive.

My artistic approach balances observation and interpretation. Influenced by classical academic traditions, the work of John Singer Sargent, JC Leyendecker, and Josh Hernandez, I draw from elements of Realism, Impressionism, and abstraction to develop the visual language best suited to each subject.

Ultimately, I create because I believe God is the source of both beauty and creativity. Whether painting from observation or exploring stories of faith, my hope is that my work encourages viewers to slow down, look more closely, and encounter the wonder, dignity, and meaning present in both creation and redemption.
